Sleep Tight is a nurturing, rejuvenating and smoothing night treatment for all skin types and ages. The full-bodied cream is packed with antioxidants, plant-based ceramides and nurturing ingredients. The rich cream contains two highly antioxidant active ingredients, chaga and melatonin. Chaga contains superoxide dismutase that acts as a powerful antioxidant. It also includes beta-glucans that effectively protect the skin from cell damage caused by free radicals, signs of ageing and air pollution. Melatonin is an excellent firming ingredient for vitality. It neutralizes the signs of premature ageing, pigment spots and cell damage caused by free radicals.*

Ceramides give valuable support to the skin barrier function and elastin fibers. Sleep Tight is a great intensive treatment especially for sensitive, thin and dry skin with skin barrier damage. Ceramides smooth fine lines and improve the moisture of the skin. They make the skin plump and juicy.

Sleep Tight contains nurturing cold pressed hemp oil which has optimal composition of omega-3-, -6- and -9-fatty acids. Squalane and mango butter offer a softening and soothing effect. Sleep Tight doesn’t contain any essential oils.

• Chaga Mushroom Extract (Inonotus Obliquus Extract, chaga mushroom extract – France). Chaga mushroom is an adaptogenic mushroom that has been used as a medicinal plant for thousands of years both in Finland and across Asia. Djusie’s Chaga mushroom extract is a hyper-concentrated bioactive ingredient, benefitting from all the nutrients and properties of the chaga mushroom thanks to an innovative and eco-friendly technology: subcritical water extraction, a fast and safe extraction optimizing its antioxidant and anti-infammatory properties. The extract is titrated in polyphenols to ensure that active compounds are standardized. Chaga mushroom extract used in Djusie’s products is proven to be effective on tired and stressed skin. It offers offers anti-redness and anti-dullness benefits for the skin. In addition, it stimulates collagen IV synthesis strengthening the dermo-epidermal junction. With its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, it fortifies the skin’s natural protection system by strengthening barrier function and the microvascular network – working on all fronts to return skin to a healthier condition, with visible results on fine lines, dark-circles and redness.
• PHYTOCERAMIDES (Glycosphingolipids & Glycolipids, phytoceramides – France). Phytoceramides acts as high-performance shield for the skin which protects the skin from environmental stresses. Ceramides are rich in omega-3-,-6- and -9. They strengthen the skin and protect skin’s elasticity and firmness. They also tighten the pores and refine skin texture. Ceramides provide instant and long lasting hydration and protect from transepidermal water loss.
• MELATONIN (Melatonin & Phospholipids, melatonin – United States). Melatonin is an excellent ingredient for healthy ageing. It has strong antioxidant properties. It protects the skin from cell damage caused by free radicals, thereby it may prevent hyperpigmentation and the formation of fine lines, as well as preserving the skin’s elasticity and firmness. In this context, melatonin has no effects on sleep.
• Hemp seed oil (Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil, hemp seed oil – Finland, organic). Premium quality cold pressed hemp seed oil is rich in omega-3-, and -6- and -9-fatty acids. Hemp seed oil is particularly good for treating dry and ageing skin as well as atopic dermatitis and acne. Hemp seed oil used in Djusie’s products is cultivated and produced in Finland without any chemical plant protection.
• SQUALANE (Squalane – Spain/Italy). Squalane, of the squalene family, is found naturally in the skin or sebum. The squalane used by Djusie is a by-product of olive oil pressing. Squalane is very well absorbed into the skin due to the similarity of the squalene contained in sebum. It is thin in composition and feels silky and does not clog the pores. Squalane has antioxidant properties that prevent the skin’s own sebum from oxidising, thus preventing impurities and pore clogging. In addition, it balances the skin’s sebum secretions, promotes cell renewal, prevents and lightens scars and pigment spots on the skin, and protects the skin from the harmful effects of UV rays. Squalane is perfect for all skin types.
• Mango seed butter (Mango butter – Burkina Faso, organic). Mango butter is a vegetable wax made from mango kernel that treats and softens the skin, acts as an occlusive, i.e. it prevents water from evaporating, and adjusts the product’s composition. Mango butter contains plenty of antioxidants, especially vitamins E and A. As a result it protects the skin from cell damage caused by free radicals and prevents signs of premature ageing. Djusie’s Orange Bliss hand cream contains mango butter, bringing an intensely moisturizing, skin-softening and protective effect.
• SESAME SEED OIL (Sesamum Indicum Seed Oil, sesame seed oil – Mexico, organic). Sesame seed oil is rich in omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids, vitamin E, and lignans that act as antioxidants, such as sesamol and sesamin. Sesame seed oil is suitable for all skin types and is particularly good for sensitive, irritated, and dry skin, as the linoleic acid it contains soothes inflammation and renews the skin. Thanks to the antioxidant properties of lignans and vitamin E, sesame seed oil neutralizes free radicals, making it beneficial for skin exposed to external and internal stress factors and for mature skin.
