Citrus Delight is a plush and full-bodied cleansing cream that cleanses the skin thoroughly and leaves a fresh, comforted feeling. It’s an excellent cleansing treat for all skin types and ages – especially for dry and sensitive skin. Citrus Delight rinses effortlessly with water without washing off the skin’s protective barrier.

Citrus Delight is an excellent cleansing product for skin that has been exposed to stressors. Lingonberry extract and birch sap are rich in antioxidants. Blackcurrant seed oil promotes healthy skin barrier function and protects the skin from drying. Red clay soothes and intensifies the cleansing effect.

The juicy aroma of ripe mandarin comes from the essential oil of red mandarin, which is a wonderful ingredient also for young skin. The cream is extremely gentle on the skin but has a strong uplifting and invigorating character. Cleansing with Citrus Delight feels no less than a gorgeous dessert experience.

How to use

Apply a half teaspoon amount of the cleansing cream on dry face and neck.
Massage with wet hands thoroughly for about one minute to emulsify the cream and cleanse the make-up, dirt and SPF.
Rinse with water.

Key ingredients

Birch sap (Betula Bendula sap, birch sap – Finland, organic). Birch sap is collected straight from the trees during the first weeks of spring. It’s 100 % organic without any preservatives. Birch sap is rich in minerals such as potassium, calcium, magnesium and manganese, as well as oligo-elements and sugars. It effectively hydrates, tones and firms the skin, and soothes irritation.
Lingonberry (Vaccinium Vitis-Idaea Fruit Extract, lingonberry extract – Estonia, wild grown). Lingonberries are hand-picked from the forests in Nordic countries. They grow in some of the cleanest forests in the world where winters are harsh and sun shines almost 24 hours in a day during the summer. This makes the plants to produce high amount of polyphenolic compounds. Lingonberries are packed of antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. Lingonberry extract helps to neutralize the effects of free radicals and signs of premature ageing.
Red clay (Kaolin (red), red clay – Spain). Red clay contains high amount of minerals, such as silica, calcium and magnesium. It softens, soothes and deep cleanses the skin gently.
Red mandarin (Citrus Reticulata peel oil, red mandarin essential oil – Italy, organic). The red mandarin gets its name from its peel, which is very red compared to regular mandarins. Its aroma is sweet and fruity with floral notes. Red mandarin essential oil has antiseptic effects, and therefore soothes inflammation. In addition, it prevents the formation of acne scars as it enhances skin regeneration and tones the skin. Its aromatherapeutic effects help to balance the nervous system, calm the mind and relieve stress. The red mandarin essential oil used by Djusie is cold-pressed from the peels of the ripe fruit.
Blackcurrant seed oil (Ribes Nigrum Seed Oil, blackcurrant seed oil – Finland). Blackcurrant Seed Oil is a supercritical CO2 extract of blackcurrant seeds. Carbon dioxide extraction is an even gentler extraction method than cold pressing, preserving the most delicate compounds of the plant. The result is a highly pure and effective active ingredient. Carbon dioxide-extracted blackcurrant seed oil contains gamma-linolenic acid and omega-3 fatty acids in an optimal ratio.It is one of the rare plant oils containing omega-6 and omega-3-fatty acids in an optimal physiological ratio. Blackcurrant seed oil is an excellent active ingredient for sensitive and ageing skin. It smooths fine lines, moisturizes, renews, and brightens the skin. Additionally, it soothes sensitive and irritated skin while providing protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation. Vitamin E and beta-carotene protect against damage caused by free radicals, and phytosterols strengthen cell membranes. Essential fatty acids support the skin’s natural functions.

What skin types is Citrus Delight suitable for?

Citrus Delight is suitable for all skin types. It is particularly good for very dry and sensitive skin, as well as for use as the second step of a double cleanse. Citrus Delight does not contain strongly cleansing, foaming surfactants, which makes it an especially gentle cleanser.

Is Citrus Delight suitable for oily skin?

Yes. Citrus Delight is also suitable for oily skin. The red clay it contains helps cleanse the pores effectively and gently without compromising the skin barrier.

Is Citrus Delight suitable for removing eye make-up and make-up?

Citrus Delight is also suitable for removing light make-up, but for heavier make-up we recommend Liquid Silk Cleansing Oil.

Is Citrus Delight suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

Yes. Citrus Delight is also suitable for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. The formula and the concentrations of all ingredients, including essential oils, have been taken into account in the product safety assessment.

How do I use Citrus Delight?

Apply a generous pea-sized amount of Citrus Delight to dry skin. Then wet your fingers and emulsify the product with damp fingers until it turns into a creamy lotion. Finally, rinse with water. Citrus Delight is also excellent as the second step of a double cleanse. You can also use Citrus Delight in the morning and Liquid Silk or a double cleanse in the evening.

What does Citrus Delight smell like?

Citrus Delight’s scent comes from genuine red mandarin essential oil, made from very ripe mandarins. The scent is sweet mandarin.

Käytin tätä aina aiemmin, mutta testattuaninLiquid silkiä, totesin että se toimii itselleni paremmin ja puhdistaa erityisesti meikin iholta tehokkaammin. Tämä on käytössä kuitenkin yhä toilettipussissa reissussa kätevyytensä vuoksi.

Valitettavasti Citrus delight ei oikein lunastanut odotuksia. En pitänyt tuotteen jättämästä ihotuntumasta. Myöskään tuoksu ei ole minun makuuni. Djusien putsareista valitsisin ehdottomasti Liquid Silkin.

Pidän yleensä Citrus Delightista enemmän reissuissa, pakkauksen takia Liquid Silkin sijasta. Myös talvella tulee usein vaihdettua Citrus Delightiin samalla kun vaihtaa Peace Outin käyttöön, sillä tuntuu, että talvi iho kaipaa enemmän itsellä tämän tuomaa kermaisuutta ja kasvohoitomaisuutta öljyputsauksen sijasta. Aivan ihana hento tuoksu ja tämkin luottotuote <3

Sopii hyvin herkälle ja epäpuhtauksiin taipuvaiselle iholle, ihana tuoksu ja kermainen kosteuttava koostumus.

Jostain syystä ei niin mieluinen minulle, puhdistus vaatii työstöä. Savimainen koostumus ei oikein innostanut, vaikka iho jäi pehmeäksi.

My skin has both dry and oily areas and I also wear make up every day. Finding a cleanser that removes all make up and leaves my skin feeling nice, fresh and hydrated has been difficult but Citrus Delight does the job! It is a favorite. Smells good too.

Hieron kuiville kasvoille ja kastelen käsiä tarpeen mukaan jos putsari tarvitsee lisää liukkautta. Todella hyvä myös hemmottelevaan pitkään kasvopuhdistukseen, jossa hieron tuotetta iholle 5-10min ongelmakohtiin keskittyen. Voi jättää jopa iholle hetkeksi kosteuttavaksi puhdistavaksi naamioksi. Tuoksuu myös ihanan pehmeältä sitrukselta ja todella ylellinen ihotuntuma. Kasvoille jää puhdas, mutta kosteutettu tunne. Ei ärsytä herkkää ihoa tai herkkiä silmiä. Poistaa myös vedenkestävän ripsivärin.
