Harmony forms the foundation of our overall well-being. The path to achieving this harmony is personal, even though it usually runs within the framework shaped by each individual. These personal frameworks and their contents build the uniqueness of each person. They manifest in many different ways, serving as a gateway to the self through repeated work and observation.
Handmade objects have long served as a reflective surface through which harmony can be examined in practice. This silkscreen print ‘Door to Harmony’, inspired by rya rugs, is one of them. The work was printed in Helsinki at Kalasatama Seripaja on Fabriano Unica Cream paper.
