A naturally occurring compound found in skin sebum, sourced as a by-product of olive oil pressing. Well-absorbed and suitable for all skin types.
Squalane belongs to the squalene family and occurs naturally in the skin's sebum. Djusie sources their squalane as a by-product of olive oil pressing. Due to its similarity to the squalene found in natural skin oils, squalane absorbs exceptionally well into the skin. Its lightweight, silky texture does not clog pores. The ingredient provides antioxidant protection that prevents sebum oxidation, reducing impurities and pore congestion. It balances sebum production, enhances cell renewal, helps prevent and diminish scars and pigmentation, and offers UV protection. These properties make it beneficial across all skin types.
