• Chaga (Inonotus Obliquus extract, chaga mushroom extract – Finland, organic). Chaga mushroom is an adaptogenic mushroom that has been used as a medicinal plant for thousands of years both in Finland and across Asia. The antioxidant content of chaga mushroom is very high. It includes superoxidase dismutase, one of the most important enzymatic antioxidants in the human body, as well as betulinic acid, inodotiol, beta-glucans and polysaccharides. Thanks to these active compounds, chaga mushroom effectively neutralizes and protects against the cell damage caused by free radicals, signs of premature ageing and air pollution. In addition, it hydrates and soothes the skin. Most of the world’s adaptogenic mushroom extracts are produced from fungal grains and fungal mycelium, not from the actual fruiting bodies. • Blackcurrant seed oil (Ribes Nigrum Seed Oil, blackcurrant seed oil – Finland). Blackcurrant Seed Oil is a supercritical CO2 extract of blackcurrant seeds. Carbon dioxide extraction is an even gentler extraction method than cold pressing, preserving the most delicate compounds of the plant. The result is a highly pure and effective active ingredient. Carbon dioxide-extracted blackcurrant seed oil contains gamma-linolenic acid and omega-3 fatty acids in an optimal ratio.It is one of the rare plant oils containing omega-6 and omega-3-fatty acids in an optimal physiological ratio. Blackcurrant seed oil is an excellent active ingredient for sensitive and ageing skin. It smooths fine lines, moisturizes, renews, and brightens the skin. Additionally, it soothes sensitive and irritated skin while providing protection against the harmful effects of UV radiation.
