Blackcurrant Seed Oil is a supercritical CO2 extract of blackcurrant seeds. Carbon dioxide extraction is an even gentler extraction method than cold pressing, preserving the most delicate compounds of the plant. The result is a highly pure and effective active ingredient. Carbon dioxide-extracted blackcurrant seed oil contains gamma-linolenic acid and omega-3 fatty acids in an optimal ratio. It is one of the rare plant oils containing omega-6 and omega-3-fatty acids in an optimal physiological ratio. Blackcurrant seed oil is an excellent active ingredient for sensitive and ageing skin.
