Tapioca Starch

Tapioca Starch – Great Britain

Tapioca starch adjusts the viscosity of cosmetic products, and it is used in Djusie’s products in this way, thickening the moisturizer. In addition, it improves the stability of the product, preventing the water and the oil from separating.

Tocopherol

Tocopherol, vitamin E – Asia

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant. It is often used in oil-based products such as face oils to prevent the oxidation of vegetable oils, allowing the oils to better retain their skin-caring properties. In addition, vitamin E has its own skin-care properties. It protects the skin from the harmful effects of free radicals and UV rays, prevents the formation of pigment spots, soothes redness, prevents inflammation, improves cellular oxygen uptake and regeneration, and firms the skin. The vitamin E used by Djusie is completely natural and extracted from vegetable oils.

Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide

Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharide – Denmark

Tremella fuciformis, known as the snow mushroom, is a pearly, coral-shaped and jelly-like fungus revered in Traditional Chinese Medicine for its ability to preserve moisture, vitality, and beauty. The Tremella extract used in Djusie contains high level of tremella polysaccharides, especially glucuronoxylomannans (GXM), bioactive molecules known for their exceptional water-binding and moisture-retaining capacity.

Tremella polysaccharides form a transparent, moisture-locking film on the skin, preventing water loss and leaving it plump, soft, and vibrant.

In clinical studies, just 0.1% tremella extract increased skin hydration by +64% after 3 hours and +47% after 6 hours, while also reducing transepidermal water loss (TEWL) by 12.4% after 5 hours.

Unlike hyaluronic acid, which loses its water-holding power over time, tremella continues to attract and bind moisture, offering superior, longer-lasting hydration. For this reason, it’s often called the botanical hyaluronic acid.

Tripleurospermum Maritimum extract
Sea mayweed – France

Sea mayweed is known as the ‘chamomile of the sea’. It contains plenty of amino acids, flavonoids and minerals. Sea mayweed extract reduces redness and inflammation, soothes the skin and protects against external stressors. Its effects on skin redness and reactivity are both immediate and long lasting.

The sea mayweed used by Djusie grows on sandhills in Brittany, France.
