Glyceryl caprylate/caprate is used as a skin softening agent and an emulsifying agent, i.e. it enables water and oil to mix with each other. The plant-derived glyceryl caprylate caprate used in Djusie’s products is a component in the mastic resin extract contained in the moisturizer.
